Sensational Perforated aluminium fence in Sapphire Beach
We were asked to design and install this sensational, custom made perforated aluminium fence from Pool Perf.
Understanding the Brief
The first step in designing a custom fence is to understand the client’s requirements. In this case, the brief includes four main considerations:
- Be the focal point of the street: The fence should be an attractive and eye-catching feature that enhances the home’s curb appeal.
- Choose a design that suits the natural bush outlook of the house: The fence should complement the surrounding landscape and blend in with the natural environment.
- Match the colour to the house trim Ironstone:
- Be dog proof for the smallest members of the family: The fence should be tall enough and have small enough holes to prevent dogs from escaping or entering the property.
- Retain the sea breeze: The fence should not obstruct the flow of air, allowing for the sea breeze to cool the property.
We collaborated with our clients through several revisions to settle on the design that they were happy with.
The installation of gumleaf and kookaburra design panels made of perforated aluminium has significantly transformed the appearance of the house, turning it into the most attractive property in the neighbourhood. The choice of design elements, in the gum leaf and kookaburra motifs, not only adds artistic value but also reflects a sense of cultural identity and a connection to nature.
The corner block location of the house maximizes the impact of the design panels, creating a focal point that enhances the property’s street frontage. The mirrored gumleaf design and kookaburra feature panels not only elevate the visual appeal of the house but, also contribute to its overall uniqueness and visual interest within the neighborhood.
Pool Perf is a versatile material that is well-suited for beachside and pool installations due to its durability and resistance to corrosion. Its perforated nature allows for airflow and visibility while still providing a degree of privacy. In addition, perforated aluminum is low maintenance, requiring minimal upkeep to retain its appearance over time.
Pool Perf has been tested in a Nata Certified lab to make sure the perforated pool fencing panels comply to local council regulations for pool safe fencing. The pool fence panels are made by punching holes no larger than 10 diametre to ensure they cannot be climbed above all safety is at the forefront of our products.
